The Speckle Park breed of cattle was developed in Canada from three breeds: English cattle with White Park Pattern, the Teeswater Shorthorn and the traditional Aberdeen Angus. Development of the breed began in 1959 and the Speckle Park became a distinct breed of purebred cattle under the terms of the Canadian Animal Pedigree Act in July 2006.
Within this site you will find out lots more about this wonderful, gentle breed: where they come from, how the colours work, what makes a good cow and all about how our herd is progressing.
